BBC Afterschool & Summer Camp Program
Ages 4 to 8th Grade
Our program is a safe, academic, energizing, and active program within an atmosphere based on Christian values and principles that meets the needs of children at their level of development. Creating opportunities to share with them the joy of knowing, growing and showing God's love and to equip them with the knowledge and tools to stand firm in a challenging world.
Nursery - The ARK
Newborn to 4 years
The mission of Bethel Baptist church Nursery Ministry is two-fold; to provide safe, secure and loving care for children, while their parents attend the church service, and to partner with parents in laying strong foundations of love for Jesus and His church. Because learning begins at birth, we believe it's important to teach about the love of God in the nursery.
Rooted BYG - Middle and High School
Our youth group name "Rooted" comes from the scripture "Therefore as you receive Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith just as you were taught" Colossians 2: 6-7. We meet every Sunday and Wednesday night for a meal, lesson and game. It is important for us to engage our youth with the scriptures, while providing a fun and safe atmosphere that they feel challenged and encouraged and in turn want to invite their friends.
Bethel Sports Ministry -
Ages 16 & Up
We participate in several different sports leagues, including; Men's softball, Co-ed softball, Basketball, Kickball, Bowling, Football, and Ultimate Frisbee. We are adding more each season.
AWANA
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
AWANA is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for toddlers through 5th graders that actively involves parents and church leaders. AWANA reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Music, games, lessons and snacks make up each Sunday night throughout the school year here at Bethel Baptist. We'd love to have your child join in on the fun!
In-Betweeners
Men and Women, Single or Married
The name "In-Betweeners" comes from the thought that many adults get lost somewhere in the shuffle between the youth ages and senior adult ages. Here at Bethel, we want to share the love of Christ with each other and the community around us - while being active physically and spiritually. We have quarterly outings like skiing, hiking, rafting, cookouts, and more. Come and join us!
Men Of Bethel - MOB
The MOB is designed to help encourage men in their walk with Christ. We center a lot of out fellowship around meals: a MOB fellowship breakfast the first Tuesday morning of each month at 6:30 AM, a church wide breakfast on the first Sunday of each month at 9AM and a church wide dinner on the first Wednesday of each month before regular services.
Women's Ministry (WMU)
WMU participates in missions to help ours and other communities in need. Some of these ministries include: Appalachian backpack outreach, Palmetto Pregnancy Center, and Clover Area Assistance.
We meet the first Wednesday of every month and are open to women of all ages.
Bethel Senior Adults - Ages 60 & Up
It’s never too late to make new friends & bring others to Christ. Being a Christian is a lifelong commitment. We’d love for you to join us for serving opportunities and fun social events.
Children's Choir -
Kindergarten thru 5th Grade
Our Children's music ministry is our newest addition to the music ministry. It is a fun, impactful ministry that teaches children as young as 5 years old lots of biblical songs, choreography and skits. This ministry lays the foundation for them to continue up to youth choir and one day adult choir!
Adult Choir
Our Adult Music Ministry is designed to give everyone an opportunity to participate, by means of music, in God’s work through our church. No musical experience is necessary. Choir practice is each Sunday night starting at 7:00 pm. We perform two special musicals within the year - Christmas and Easter. Here at Bethel Baptist, you will find a blend of traditional and contemporary music.
Youth Choir -
Middle and High School
This ministry gives our youth the opportunity to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. We have practice every week on Sunday afternoons, and perform for the congregation at least once a quarter.
